Mentor Logo Contest to be Launched in January 2012

Gearing up for the new Mentor Club in 2012 - ask instructors for a Mentor application. Interviews will be performed during the second week in January. In 2012, Mentors will assist with the Ride Share program, Tutoring, Achievement Club, Mentor Training, Fundraising, Class Announcements, etc. It will be an action pack year. 
Come join in the fun!!


Mentor Meetings:               1st and 3rd Tuesday of the Month at 7:20 PM in Suite B6
                                               1st and 3rd Wednesday at 6 PM in Suite B6
                                              1st and 3rd Thursday of the Month at 2 PM in Suite B6
                                              1st and 3rd Sunday of the Month at 12 Noon in Suite B6


                                              
                                              Resuming After the Holiday Break
New Mentor Meeting
Start Dates :                           First week of the month = no meetings due to Holidays

New Mentor applications June 2-June 7.  Interviews will be conducted during the second week of January.  Be prepared to talk a little about yourself and
why you want to be a Mentor.

                           Meetings = Third Week of January

                                                 January 15 - Sunday
                                                 January 17 - Tuesday
                                                 January 18 - Wednesday
                                                 January 19 - Thursday


Mentor Requirements:  
                                               Minimum 2 Completed Mods
                                               Attendance between 95 - 100%
                                               G.P.A minimum 3.0
                                               Compliant with Dress Code
                                               Attendance of 3 Achievement Clubs

Mentor Responsibilities:      
                                                 Assist Instructors with Attendance
                                                 Assist in the Tutoring Center
                                                 Assist with the Ride Share Program
                                                Fundraising Events
                                                Assist with Camups Events
                                                Take Mentees to 3 Achievement Club Meetings
                                                Attend Mentor Training - Assist with Facilitating Training
                                                Make classroom announcements for Meetings
                                                Mentor 3 Mentees on the Skills and Resource List
                                                Encourage and Recruit New Mentors
